The first of the traditional style Rhododendron to flower. From February onwards in mild spells with a final flush in April. Believed to have been forced for Christmas use in Victorian times.

Grows to 120-150cm
A medium growing "compact hybrid" perfect for smaller gardens and pots on the patio. These hybrids hold their colour really well unlike the yakushimanum hybrids which tend to soften with age.
